Legislative Action Alert!

 

Submit a Letter of Support to the Chairs of Two Assembly Committees by April
24.

Legislative Action Update!

 

On Wednesday, April 18, the Assembly Local Government Committee approved AB
<http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/pub/07-08/bill/asm/ab_1351-1400/ab_1358_bill_2007
0409_amended_asm_v98.html>  1358 (Leno), The Complete Streets Act, by a vote
of 5 ayes and 2 noes.  Assemblymember Mark Leno presented and KC Butler, CBC
Executive Director, Tim Bustos, bicycle planning engineer and former CBC
board member, and Nina Weiler, AARP, testified in support of the bill.  AB
1358 has been sent to the Assembly

Appropriations Committee for review.
